We got this as part of our guest bath refresh. It is much quieter than the one it replaced. It was fairly easy to install. It looks great and it does a good job venting the bathroom.

This fan and light kit by Akicon is such a huge improvement over the one we replaced! You can see the old vs new in the photos.This new fan was quite easy and straightforward to install as we already had the rough-in box and all that was required was removing the old fan unit and putting the new one in its place. The only thing that required a slight workaround were the wires. The old fan housing unit was already hardwired with the receptacle. These fan wires plugged into the housing. This new fan came with stripped ends ready to connect to the same type of wires. We just cut the plug ends off the old fan and attached them to the new fan connector wires.The led lights are clear and bright and the brushed nickel finish goes perfect with the other accessories in the bathroom. The coup de grace is the extremely quiet fan. Our old one was very loud and could be heard throughout the whole house.We're so pleased with this fan and light and kit. It looks elegant and works so perfectly. We highly recommend it.
I bought this fan to replace my old noisy fan. The installation was straightforward, and not too tricky. The fan has three different light modes. To switch between the lights just turn it off and back on quickly and the light color changes then it will stay at that color for normal use. This fan is super quiet and very minimalistic. I love it.
It is much larger that you think it is, but the box that goes in the attic is the same size as the cheap plastic one that came in the house. The part that is in the bathroom is about twice the size of that cheap plastic one, though. It DOES NOT look cheap and the light is very bright and the fan really pushes some air!!The only hard part of the installation was getting into the attic to unwire the old box and wire up the new box. After that, everything else was easy.
