Why did you pick this product vs others? This fan is super quiet, has great airflow and the light is not too bright. It is very attractive and has a transitional style.

We replaced an old square bathroom fan from the original construction of the home. We had it professionally installed however they seemed to have an easy time with the installation and had it in quite quickly. We were immediately amazed with how quiet the fan is! The light is quite bright and easily changed in color (light temp). Unfortunately we cannot use the nightlight feature separately despite having purchased the special switch as our original fan/light was installed with separate lines for the fan and the light, so both the nightlight and main light come on together.
It fit the place of the original fan well but will require painting as the original fan was square and this is round so we can still see the outlines of the dust shadows in the corners of the original fan.
We’re quite pleased with the fan and glad we purchased the optional smart switch as it automatically turns the fan on when humidity is detected and then turns it off after several minutes of normal readings (these settings are adjustable for your preferences). Of course you can still turn the fan on and off manually, but the switch has a nice feature that it has a colored light to indicate that the fan is running (important since it is so quiet).

If you're replacing an existing bathroom fan/light system, you'll find this to be super easy to install. The fan unit is an inch smaller than my previous one, but the light was bigger, so the square hole in the ceiling can be concealed. The fan is quiet, yet powerful, and we love how the light temperature can be changed and that it's dimmable. We're happy with this unit.

Our bathroom is set up that the light is above the sink, and not overhead, thus making the shower area rather dark if one showers at night. Adding this exhaust fan/light combo has helped illuminate the shower and eliminate dark shadows. We have it wired to come on with the existing timer switch, so it works beautifully…when the timer goes off, it goes dark. Really a nice addition to our bathroom.
