This exhaust fan is nice and quiet and the light is nice and bright. Works great and it was very easy to install
We replaced an old square bathroom fan from the original construction of the home. We had it professionally installed however they seemed to have an easy time with the installation and had it in quite quickly. We were immediately amazed with how quiet the fan is! The light is quite bright and easily changed in color (light temp). Unfortunately we cannot use the nightlight feature separately despite having purchased the special switch as our original fan/light was installed with separate lines for the fan and the light, so both the nightlight and main light come on together.It fit the place of the original fan well but will require painting as the original fan was square and this is round so we can still see the outlines of the dust shadows in the corners of the original fan.We’re quite pleased with the fan and glad we purchased the optional smart switch as it automatically turns the fan on when humidity is detected and then turns it off after several minutes of normal readings (these settings are adjustable for your preferences). Of course you can still turn the fan on and off manually, but the switch has a nice feature that it has a colored light to indicate that the fan is running (important since it is so quiet).
I recently installed the Akicon Bathroom Exhaust Fan with Light in my bathroom, and it’s a game changer! The 80 CFM does a great job of clearing out humidity, and at 2.0 sones, it’s relatively quiet. The dimmable 15W LED light is bright and easy on the eyes, while the 3.5W nightlight is a soft glow for nighttime use. The 3CCT feature allows for different color temperatures, which is a nice touch. Plus, the sleek round silver design blends perfectly with modern decor.
